November Sale Results

Twombly Performance Horse Sale was held November 2nd & 3rd, 2023 at Coyote Slide Ranch near Scottsbluff, Nebraska! We would like to thank all of you who attended and bid by phone/internet. Topping the sale was Lot 3 “Tarzan”! This big pretty 4 yr old palomino gelding is reining trained and as flashy as can be! We used him for lessons and had ridden him on the ranch. He is gentle! He found a lovely lady from Colorado winning the bid at $55,500! She was awarded a beautiful trophy saddle for buying the top seller!

Coming in at second high was another big beautiful palomino we called MR. Dutton! Lot 12 was a 7 yr old Shining Spark bred gelding that is a good family horse with a fantastic handle! This stand up gelding sold sight unseen and fetched a $50,000 bid from a Virginia buyer!

Lot 6 “Maple” is a gorgeous buckskin mare with blue eyes that got noticed everywhere she went! She is a kind mare that the whole family has ridden. 6 years old and an own daughter of HF Mobster. She sold sight unseen to very good clients of ours from Florida! $45,000 being the final bid.

Lot 11, “Benelli” is an Appaloosa of a Life Time! Just a 4 yr old, yet extremely broke and gentle to ride. He was a sale favorite! He sold sight unseen to repeat buyers of New Mexico for $45,000! They have purchased 12 horses from us since 2018.

“Splotches” is a 7 yr old High Brow Cat bred gelding. Lot 14 has been shown in the reining, ridden on the ranch and every level of rider has been on him. He sold for $43,500 and makes Colorado his new home. He was one of Rayner’s favorites to ride!

Lot 7 “Chanel” is a gorgeous palomino daughter of Inferno Sixty Six! She was shown in the reining and ridden by the little ones. She sold to a family out of Oklahoma sight unseen for a bid of $43,000! Very special mare!

Selling for $38,000 and remaining in the state of Nebraska was Lot 13 “Meadow”! This uniquely colored mare is reining bred on the top side and cow bred on the bottom. She has been shown in the reining and ridden on the ranch. Super sweet mare!

Lot 8 “Baytoven” is one of the most magnificent bay geldings we have offered! He gets noticed everywhere he goes. He is big all over! 4 yrs old and super broke! He sold sight unseen and makes Indiana his new home at a final bid of $37,000!

Lot 5 is a 5 yr old palomino gelding by Yellow Jersey! “Riata” sold sight unseen to repeat buyers of Maryland for $35,000. This is the fourth horse she has purchased from us and all have been purchased sight unseen! This guy is an in your back pocket type, super super broke and just a good guy! He landed the best home!

“Stetson” sold sight unseen to a West Virginia buyer! He is going to be a family horse. The 4 yr old buttermilk buckskin gelding is Wimpys Little Step bred and super handsome to boot! He fetched a final bid of $33,000!

“Biskits” sold at Lot 2 for $32,000. The 10 yr old sorrel gelding is an own son of the great Gunners Special Nite! He was one of the main family horses here on the ranch, we used him for lessons and all of the kids have ridden him! He found his forever home here in Nebraska!

Here is a 5 yr old own son of Little Joe Cash. He has NRHA earnings and is a huge athlete! Lot 9 “Bumper” sold sight unseen and heads to Texas for $31,500! One of the best broke geldings we had sold at this sale.

Lot 1 “Brick” is a 4 yr old buckskin gelding. High Brow Cat grandson that has been on the ranch. This is a good minded gelding that found a good home in South Dakota! He sold for $28,000!

“Stone” was Tripp’s favorite horse. He also heads to South Dakota with “Brick”. Tripp loved roping on lot 17. He is an own son of Dun It For Whizkey! He sold for $27,000!

Lot 10 “Pearl” is a gorgeous blue eyed buckskin 3 yr old daughter of the great Spooks Gotta Whiz! She is started in the reining. She sells to an Oregon buyer for $26,000!

Lot 16 “Zafira” is a beautiful 4 yr old daughter of Shiners Voodoo Dr. She has been reining trained and ridden on the ranch. She sells for a bid of $26,000 and heads for Wisconsin.

Selling sight unseen to repeat buyers from Wyoming was Lot 19 “Hayzer”. The own son of Conquistador Whiz has a lot of ability and is fancy broke! He sold for $20,500.

Lot 20 was a substitute. “Dunder” is a big gentle gelding that has been used for ranch work. He sold sight unseen to a repeat buyer from Georgia for $16,000! She has purchased 5 geldings from us all sight unseen.

Lot 22 “Jagger” is a 10 yr old own son of Gunnatrashya! He is super broke with NRHA earnings of over $10,000! He sold sight unseen for $15,000 and heads to Pennsylvania!
